IMPORTANT UPDATE: Rescinded Administrative Directive on Wildcat WellCheck Usage
Rescinded June 8, 2021
The University of Arizona is rescinding its Administrative Directive on Wildcat WellCheck Usage in light of changing public health conditions in Southern Arizona and updated guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Pima County.
As of June 8, 2021, employees, students and designated campus colleagues are no longer required to perform a daily wellness check via the Wildcat WellCheck program each day before they are on a University of Arizona campus or begin campus-based activities.
Wildcat WellCheck is a self-administered wellness screen that UArizona employees, students, DCCs and visitors complete each day before they are on a UArizona campus or facility. Using Wildcat WellCheck will reduce everyone’s risk of COVID-19, and is an important part of our multi-prong approach to campus safety to help ensure that our campus remains open for in-person learning, teaching, and research.
Wildcat WellCheck serves as an early warning system for campus. When WellCheck indicators show an increase in reported symptoms or exposures, the university can then deploy our robust Test, Trace and Treat efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
There are no apps to download or complicated systems to navigate. Just answer a few brief questions on your phone (or via email) at the start of your day. It's free and easy to use! Sign up by texting JOIN to 35106.
All students, employees, and DCC's are required to complete the Wildcat WellCheck every day they plan to be onsite at any UArizona location.
Even employees working from home or not yet returning to campus regularly should enroll in Wildcat Wellcheck.
Once enrolled, you can update your enrollment preferences to receive WellCheck reminders when you return to campus.
